UtoteM

UtoteM the quintessential 'Convenience Store' and agora of my youth. Fountain drink, a bag of Funyuns, a pack of Hubba Bubba, a game of pinball or two, and the latest issue of Sgt. Rock. Them's good memories.

Mars Restaurant & Bar

As I prepared to post this one, I found that Mars no longer exists. Elvis indeed left the building... the city and the galaxy. This was truly one of the more memorable restaurants anyplace ever. Fantastic food, wonderful presentation, unique ambience, great service, excellent location, and the only place in the known Solar System that serves a "Pink Martian." I'd always hoped to go back someday. Alas, this recollection will have to suffice.

Gilley's

To this day, I have never seen Urban Cowboy. But, I have been to the original Gilley's. I barely even remember the Beer.
