I admit, I was a John Mayer fan. Unfortunately I never saw his early performances, but we did get to see him live at SPAC opening for Counting Crows. I was enamored with his early raw acoustic style and his realistic presentation. Hopefully, he can dispense with the baggage of pop fame and rediscover his real talent... Someday.
