Fort Wilderness Resort

I'm REALY not sure where this one came from. Disney was no recollection of my childhood. And to this day I have never been to any of the Disney resorts. And right now, it looks as though niether will my children. Perhaps it was someone's sick joke, giving me this particular book... then and now.

Hut's

Awe yeah! Of the greatest burgers in America, Hut's is definitely in the top 10. Red Mill in Seattle has the 2nd best burger in America. The best burger in America can be had at the Index Cafe, in Index, WA beneath Index (Dante's) Peak in Stephen's Pass. If someone can tell me how they make 1" square french fries 8 inches long, I'll buy your burger. But, you gotta drive.

Benihana

Actually, never been to eat at one. I'd have chosen Szechuan over Teriyaki in a flash and I didn't even like Sushi until I met my wife. Today, perhaps...

The Crab Pot

And while we're in Seattle... The Crab Pot is the best you can do on the waterfront for Cajun crawfish boil. Overpriced, and undersized, the food is extremely mediocre. But then I'm spoiled coming from the Gulf Coast where crawfish tails are as big as a sausage and they don't skimp for the corn and potatoes. There's that one place in Port Aransas (The Crazy Cajun?) with red hot crawfish and ice cold beer. The best meal there is after spending a day on the sweltering beaches of Mustang Island.

Romper Room

Some fun times here, at the low end of Queen Anne in Seattle. I think there's Condos there now.
