Chicago Yacht Club
I had a very enjoyable lunch at the Chicago Yacht Club in December of 1996 with an old Texas'Ex and a group of Architect post grads. and interns. A rare event, since I'd likely never be able to get in the place again. I remember it well, since Lake Michigan stretched into the distance, frozen solid as far as the eye could see.

Just another Thai Restaurant, tastes about the same more expensive than most. If you're in Seattle, do yourself one bette and head up to Cafe Chinois on Queen Anne Hill.

First National Bank
First National Bank of Gidding's, Texas. I feel like I spent a significant part of my childhood in this bank, but I was too young to know why. Thinking back on it, I can kinda guess though.

Donn's Depot
Across the street from where I used to work, Donn's Depot was quite intriguing. But, alas, I never went there for anything more than to bum a book of matches.

Marcus's
Marcus' is by far the best Martini bar in Seattle, or anywhere, for that matter. The Martini's are outstanding. The supermodel bartender who worked there ca. 2004 put it over the top.
